Photography Workshops

Toni has been running photographic workshops in schools and with groups for the last two years. Emphasis for most workshops is around photographing wildlife, nature, landscapes and natural forms, but other styles can be catered for. We now have a large variety of equipment for students to use, including simple compact cameras, Nikon digital SLR cameras and a variety of lenses, suitable for everything from close up 'macro' photography, to long range, telephoto lenses most suitable for wildlife. Workshops typically include a presentation with simply photography tips, one or two photographic sessions, a review of images on laptop computer and discussion of each student's progress. Student work can be printed and delivered later, or supplied on a CD or DVD for you to make your own printing arrangements.

Toni is slowly building a reputation as a countryside and wildlife photographer and exhibits at events and shows throughout the country. Her own work can be seen at www.tonicross.co.uk. She is currently planning a second trip to Australia and will be spending two months photographing the wildlife of the East Coast and tropical Queensland. Work will be on show at events from November 2008 and through an exhibition hosted by the RSPB's Bempton Cliffs reserve in December 2008. Check out her own website for more information. Talks about this and other trips can be arranged, or included in a photo workshop.

If you are interested in a workshop please drop us an email with details of your group and we can suggest a workshop programme and give you a quote. Workshops would usually be for a minimum of a day, but a series of shorter workshops may be possible.

Photographs on this page were taken by participants in workshops for Carr Lane Primary, Willerby; Young People's Local Delivery Group in Withernsea, and Day Care Services in Hull.
