Basket making workshops can be organised for schools or for a
group of people.
Children will try their hand at the traditional rural craft of basket weaving.
One day workshops can create a basket for the classroom,
with every child in the class taking part in small groups.
In a two day workshop older children can also make individual
woven mats to take home.
Children will also learn about different basket designs
and the historic use of baskets as containers.
Adults can make a simple frame basket to take home.
