Our garden willow craft workshops are ideal for schools who are looking for creative ways to develop their garden areas.
We can make a variety of items such as plant supports and pot holders, trellis, borders for raised beds and small screens as well as simple shapes and balls. The workshop can be adapted to suit your group and requirements and children can learn different weaving techniques, as well as developing their design skills.
These workshops are especially suitable for schools who wish to involve larger numbers of children and can offer some staff or parent support as it is possible for two or more groups to work on a variety of pieces at the same time with an adult assisting.
We can also include making scarecrows in these workshops, using willow to make heads and frameworks for children to dress in old clothes or even outgrown school uniforms!
